Are You Having The Booster ?

I've just got back home from the jab emporium. Went as a walk in as I've had no notification even though my second was over 6 months ago. My timing was a bit crap as I was in there for about an hour this time instead of the 30 minutes or so for my first two but the injection was quick and painless.

I prepared myself in advance and topped my fridge up with good things to eat that require minimal or no effort to cook, a litre of scotch and a couple of bottles of ginger wine and plan to spend the next couple of days bingeing on Audiobooks and TV Box Sets.

Just had mine. Walked in, jabbed within a minute, had to sit and wait 15 minutes before I could leave.

Ive had a email to say i can book mine but my GP told me to wait till Jan as I had covid in Oct/Nov. So there is no point having it now as i am more covered atm anyway. Come Jan i will be booking the booster for sure!

She has however confirmed today she thinks I have long covid due to many symptoms i still have 6 weeks on! Off for blood tests and chest xray next week to rule out any other issues as she says covid could have affected one of my organs or i could have something else going on so having tests to double check. If all clear then she says im 100% suffering from Long Covid which could last another few weeks or months FML. Signed off work again for 3 weeks now, have to take it easy. :17:

Current symptoms are:

Severe tiredness daily
Headaches daily :banghead:
Lack of concentration and motivation
Very low mood, borderline depression, very up and down.
:thud:
Currently battling a UTI and on antibiotics
Generally feeling pretty shite!

But as i said before at least I'm alive.......every cloud huh! :51:
