Are You Having The Booster ?

Still not sure what to do. Still feeling rough, it will be 7 weeks on Wed that i got covid.
Do i get the booster now or wait till mid Jan as that will 3 months from testing positive.

I assume I'm well protected from having covid and i did have the 2 vaccines last year, 2nd one 13th May so thats way over the 6 months.

Thoughts? Wait till around 20th Jan or book it now?

I don't have to play the recovery card lovely, im still recovering, im off work atm anyway and currently they are allowing us all to WFH anyway.

Just want to see my family the wk b4 chrimbo, thats all, everyone else can piss off now.
Popped to my friends on Sat to get out for a few hours cause been staying in too much. stayed for abour 1.5 hrs, had a cuppa. Today she tells me her husband has tested positive! She failed to tell me on Sat he has had a cold for a week. Pisses me off! A whole 7 days with a cold then gets tested, whats wrong with people?
Knowing I'm still recovering and not telling me he had a cold? He wasn't in but thats not the point, she could have it herself and we hugged twice.

Just hope my antibodies are strong enough. To be fair doesnt mean i will get it again, she maybe negative but still. Just annoys me. I know it wasn't done on purpose or anything but this just makes me back away again

Wait, you've been double jabbed and must surely have a load of covid antibodies floating around, why put yourself through probable booster jab side effects as well, this side of Christmas, esp. as you are most likely suffering from some form of long covid, and are ill enough as it is, right now.

Wait. It's not just about anti bodies, it can mess you up apparently with inflammation.
Wait atleast 3 month's is what I've heard.

A pharmacist told me 7 weeks minimum but also mentioned 3 months. Have to be a bit careful otherwise we'll end becoming human pin cushions and being injected with needles the size of drainpipes.

Ok thanks all. I will wait, thats what my gut was telling me but everywhere i read online you can have it 4 weeks after.
I actually feel like I have a cold atm but then again my body is messed up at the moment so i could feel absolutely fine again later!

So update, my friends pcr and her daughter was negative, they took the test yesterday.

So i think im in the clear as saw them Saturday.
