Are You Having The Booster ?

sadly i dont think it will ever stop. weve got it for good now on this planet.
hopefully they will find a vacine that will last longer than 3-6 months and then we will all get it at the same time as the yearly flu jab. imuno supressed is a different kettle of fish though, we will need it more often and maybe in smaller doses or in tablet form that we take each week.
only time will tell.
I was reading somewhere the other day about a strong chance that a tablet could be possible, we wait and see.

4th, 5th, 6th Booster? Don't care - I'll have them anyway if required. Its never been any secret that the vaccine isn't a 100% guarantee of immunity. Whingeing isn't going to make Covid go away

Neither is the current vaccine or booster program.

But I can't see it making it worse. IMO the option is to either have some protection or less if you don't bother keeping up to date. Obviously it is down to personal choice, but I don't think whingeing helps anyone.
The vaccine itself or booster doesn't remain in the system ready to fight off any potential infection, it doesn't work like that.
It works by introducing the immune system to the virus which kick starts it into making antibodies.
The body's immune system then remembers and is primed ready to do the same again should the need arise.
How long it takes for the body to forget in the instance of Covid is unknown and wont be known for years yet.
Some vaccines are for life such as TB and some for many many years like tetanus and some are not that long lived like flu.
I personally can't see how a double dose would be ineffective to the point where it would need boosting after only 10 weeks which is what the current system is suggesting but what do i know.

I'm aware of that, my post was merely pointing out the option is some resistance or less. Its never been promoted as a cure or 100% effective.
