Aromamizer supreme questions!!!

My new aromamizer supreme arrived yesterday, I've seen a few YouTube videos/reviews on how to build with some saying vertical is the way forward and others horizontal.

Has anybody got any experience with this RDTA???

Which way did you find best???

And can someone recommend me a flavour build for the aromamizer supreme???

I build mine with horizontal coils , that seems to be the most popular way .

the airflow on them is best suited to horizontal and make full use of the space available to you.

Thanks for the reply... Do you have a go to build for the aromamizer??? I was thinking of chucking a couple of nichrome Claptons in it tonight

They'll work just fine, I've got claptons in mine and run them on parallel mechs, from memory I think mine come in at 0.4 ohms for the pair

Verticals are a great option in the RDTA v1 and v2 because of the adjustable airflow direction. It's a squeeze to get 3.0mm ID claptons in horizontally but dead easy to fit up to 3.5mm ID dual coils in vertically. The slight downside with verts is having only one wick tail in the juice well. The RDTA wicks so well however that this is no biggie.

The Supreme and Supreme Lite both have fixed airflow and the shape of that airflow is a broad rectangle ... consequently there's no need / benefit for verticals at all, horizontals are definitely the way to go.

The best flavour builds in the Supreme for me have been SFCs and aliens - Ni80, Ni80/kanthal and Stainless Steel. The Supreme really sings with big, complex wires. You'll get great results from Nichrome Claptons.

That said, a friend of mine says that dual 9 spaced 3.0mm wraps of 26g (0.4mm) kanthal does it for him.

I put stainless claptons in mine and couldn't get the buggers to work , I was trying them In TC but found that you need to input the tcr for said wire else it did nothing , but it was still pretty shite . Now I have my Therion mod I might give it another go . At the mo I am using 28 g ss 3 mm id @ 8 wraps per coil and that's working pretty well ...

Think thats his way of saying he's plugged up the airflow slots and converted it to a shot glass
