Horizontals work best for me.
The gurgling sounds like a wicking problem to me. Or maybe flooding due to not enough wick.
Can you tell us what your build is?
Some pics might help.

The build is a horizontal Nichrome Clapton 5 wraps coming out at .23 ohms.

Built it this morning been vaping on it all day. Flavour and clouds are fantastic just this gurgling is really annoying me. Not had any leaking issues.

If it isn't leaking and the vape is ok. I wouldn't worry about the gurgling.
My Griffin gurgles like holy fuck for some reason. But the vape is bang on. I've not had any gurgling from the supreme though. If it is vaping ok, live with it.
Looking at the bottom pic. It looks like you could do with more wick. It's hard to tell off a pic though.

Really looking forward to trying an aromamiser... sounds like you have had some good advice already and got it going well.. @MrTeaTime is a master of the aromamiser as far as I am aware...

Just out of interest which setting do you have the juice flow control in??? I'm using a 70vg/30pg juice in mine!!

I use 70/30 also with the juice flow control set in the middle.
