I don't have a caliper to measure mine. but iirc someone on here had problems with a molicell being too long. Maybe try a Samsung or Sony cell

Same height as a VTC5 and variously 25rs' and VTC5A, don't know what is what as they're all rewrapped, apart from the VTC5A. It's the diameter/width of a molicel 18650 that is usually the issue (for me).

Well spotted on the 21700, btw, they do have issues with length and or protruding positive flat top.

Use a Samsung 30T or 40T instead. The molicel positive terminal extends a touch further on the Molicel. The Samsungs will fit better.

Except i think the reason is that molicell positive terminals r just weaker than most

The positive pin is on a spring, the length of the battery doesnt really matter unless it fully compresses the spring, and even then, in theory, it shouldnt matter

No, but i had a molicell do the same thing in a different mod from being dropped, its the only brand of battery that ever seems to happen to so easily

No idea about their respective strength but I've just compared my 40T and P42A and the Molicel it 100% a fraction taller because of the positive terminal not being as flat. Not a huge difference but it's enough to make a difference to the fit in a tight fitting mod.

Yeah, apparently they r, but think about it logically, should a fraction of a mm really cause that to happen?

Also, its the 21700 batteries that do it, because of their weight, never have a prop with the p26
