Stock Clapton coil also running through eliquid fast, 2ml gone since my last post less than an hour ago, and I wasn't even chain vaping!

This must be one of the most frustrating MTL tanks I've used.

Just when you think you have it sussed it go's haywire again. Still battling against the dreaded liquid in the gob here.

Latest effort I dug out the 28 awg kanthal spool and made up a wee spaced coil, very occasionally I still get a gobfull. **sigh**

This might be getting bumped down or even off my Top 5.

When I first filled it and screwed down the top, leaving the air intake open, most of the eliquid disappeared down the chamber below the tank (liquid in gob when vaping). On second attempt I closed the air intake, partially screwed down the top, turned it upside down and screwed-in fully (like the old Kayfuns), probably overkill but it worked.

It is really fiddly and tight to take off the top for filling, probably due to the new orings. I now understand the earlier post about removing them. I'm sure it'll be easier once they wear down with use.

Do you use the original drip tip(it was a condensation builder for me) ?
It might worth change that

LOL, it only made it to no,4 initially, but I've tried everything with it, flipping upside down when filling etc, but the damn thing just decides when it wants to give me a gobfull, even midway though an otherwise pleasant tankfull.

Lets hope the Dvarw is better, this might meet the mallet of doom!! Flavour is muted with a longer drip tip, bummer.

Flavour is MUCH MUCH better after doing a clean, was using it all day just to see if im going nuts or not - but its not perfect, so im going to clean it again now, just need to tweak the coils to get a real nice flavour.

i did notice the smell from the build deck was much worse than the tank/chimney, so my thoughts are machining oil was trapped in the air box under the deck. and there is not an easy way to run it through.

have also experienced the excess liquid from the drip tip.

I found myself using slightly more wick than normal on mine. That was with the 3mm id ni fused claptons that came with it. Got the odd gob full but never consistantly.
