Best RDA for flavour?

There are loads, but how you coil and wick is more important than your atty to be honest. My favourite attys for flavour are the Freakshow and Tsunami. Pretty much the same flavour experience as the Kennedy which everyone seems to rave about, and a hell of a lot cheaper.

Building your coils depends on whether you're using a mech or regulated. On a single battery mech, a simple dual parallel 26g 2.5mm 7 or 8 wrap depending on your battery works a treat. On a regulated, a 2.5 or 3mm 26/35g fused clapton works great, and a 24/35g fused clapton if you can handle builds as low as 0.1 works even better, but can get a little toasty in some RDAs.

Have a Mad hatter, kenndy comp clone and Mutation Xv4 and have great flavour from all, Mutation is probable best but mad hatter is great so as chimerax says I would concentrate more on your builds and wicking than rushing out for new atty. Experiment with position of coil in atty as well as the wicking, it can make a big difference to flavour, I usually find having the coil close to the airflow holes gives much more flavour.

Thats one hell of a list to choose from now lol... From what i gather, is bottom airflow somewhat better flavor in comparison to having it on the sides?

Ive tried quite a few different builds on the mad hatter - 26/32 claptons, various gauge normal and twisted kanthal; and i always use the scottish wick method (the one where you really open up the fibres etc). I do find that the closer i place it to the airflow the better flavors i get, but i find my topbox mini, griffin RTA etc has better flavor still. Dont know if i should experiment with another RDA now... :S

Tanks are getting so good now I mainly only drip to test new batches of home brew mix before putting in my griffin or TF-RDA, but then again its always fun trying new stuff and swapping everything around can be slightly easier with an RDA :16:

I'd second the Magma comment. Reduced chamber/airflow will always improve flavour.

Before you buy a new dripper, try some fused claptons. I get great flavour out of a Zorro V1 and a Velocity clone. Normal claptons left me cold...make sure the outer is a small guage, 32/34...

Well I went upto vaper expo over the weekend in Birmingham... What a great show it was!

I picked up a Tsunami for £10, built using SS wire and wicked with native wicks (takes a little while to break in? dont know if its the SS wire or the wick) and the thing tastes amazing... loving it thus far. From what i can decipher, the bottom airflow makes a huge difference? Only con is the small area in the base which doesnt allow much cotton. Does anybody know any other similar bottom airflow with velocity style RDA that chucks good flavor?

PS: Also picked up the Gemini RTA & Gemini MEGA RTA - These things are a beast! Way better than the Griffin imho...

It's the wick, it takes a while for all components of the flavouring to get to the coil. Remember that thing at school with felt tips and filter papers? It's that.
