I have been vaping since 19th of december, so not very long, but since I picked up my first ever device I haven't touched a stinkie, I started with cartomizers, then went onto clearomizers, and now I'm on davide glassomizers, which I love, I just wanted to no if there is anything better out there tank wise. It wouldn't bother me if there wasn't as I do love the davide glassomizers and will defo be buying a few more, but im getting my itaste vtr soon and wanted to buy some new tanks with it :)

The ********** glass and ********* new fusion series tanks paired with ****** DNA 20 is a great set up allows you to see great taste on liquid with wattage variable and glass/plastic taste comparisons. I usually do fruit blends in my glass and nutty rich pastry flavors in fusion.. 6 months "stinker" free. Love the full customizable feel

@MattyVapesShark Thats an awful lot of vaper sharking... so Im going to take a stab at this... youre probably a vendor and if so we have some rules clearly linked throughout the forum. Please take a moment to read them :)

OP if you like the davides, stick with them, the closest similar thing would be a Protank :) And congrats on hitting over one month :) My dad started vaping the same day as you

I have tried various clearomisers and I like the Kanger T3S. I have also used the Kanger pro tank. Have recently moved on to the dual coil Aspire BDC and now the Aspire Pyrex Nova. It is the best I have used by far. Had no problem with leakage or gurgling and easy to fill. You get a throat hit, it make loads of vapour and really brings out the flavour of the liquid. I have thought about the Aspire Nautilus but it's a bit pricey. I got the Aspire Pyrex Nova for under £8. It is the business. The coils also last longer and is only £2.50 to replace.

I have just started with the Aspire Nautilus and I can definitely recommend it. The air flow control is second to none in my opinion. Yes it is a bit pricey but cheaper in the UK than here in Holland. I have just found out that the coil can be rebuilt for rebuid enthusiates. So all in all worth the extra cash for superb vapes,

I don't think clearos get much better than the Aspire range, although I've never tried any Innokin products.

Re-buildable atomisers are probably your next step if you can put up with all the faff.

I never got on with drippers.

Personally, I love a carto in a tank.

Well done on making it this long without smoking! :)

There are 2 major price ranges for tanks once you get past the cheapy throw away clearomiser stuff.

There's the tanks that cost £12-£20 depending on exactly what you get and where you get it, and then there is a huge leap up to the higher end tanks like Kayfuns/Taifuns and such. There's not a lot in the middle.

right now the best and easiest vape is from an Aspire Tank (imo) and the other major tank design is the ProTank.

If you are looking for things to slot into your VTR without using the annoying extension thingy, then you want something no larger in diameter than a ProTank.

There are a lot of different ProTank based designs around. There are Kanger ProTanks themselves, there are Davide Tanks as well as a few others that use the same head. They all vape more or less the same so which one is best for you depends on which one you like the look of best.

Then there are Aspire tanks. I think these vape better than ProTanks, but preferences are subjective and all that. The Davide Aspire tank is the only glass tank that uses the stock Aspie heads, but you can get adapters to be able to use an Aspire head on a ProTank or a standard Davide glassomiser.

I rate all of the above tanks highly cos the tank itself is made from glass. Glass is a much better material than plastic not least because of the fact that some liquids can cause polycarbonate plastics to crack/leak.

If you've not tried as Aspire based tank yet I'd recommend giving one a spin and seeing if you prefer it. You can get a cheaper Aspire clearo which gives a similar vape to the more expensive tanks so you can get an idea of how it vapes. Or you can get an adapter for the tanks you've got already both of which will set you back less than a fiver.

Similarly if you're already using Aspire heads then try the standard ProTank head at least once. The ProTank head (also used in evods) is quite easy to rebuild yourself, so if you are that way inclined you can save quite a bit by recoiling your own heads and some users swear by recoiling ProTank heads as they get a better vape out of them compared to the stock ones.

Aspire heads aren't rebuildable (you can rebuild them but it takes so long it's not cost effective) Aspire heads are also a little less forgiving if you burn them when they're dry.

If you prefer aspire then the newest tank out now is the Nautilus, though it's a great tank it's larger than a ProTank so won't easily fit a VTR and uses it's own bespoke heads, that nothing else uses, which could be an issue.

the next price bracket up gets to about £60 for a Kayfun Lite or a Russian 91% (kayfun clone) you can find much cheaper Kayfun copies too. Right now the Kayfun is possibly the best tank out there. You'll need to be able to build your own coils to use one (not nearly as hard as it seems) there will probably be a Mawsley along soon to talk more about other tanks :)

The other alternative is a Genesis atomiser. Getting the best out of one takes much learning and much fiddling. If you like tinkering with things, then they might be ideal.

Personally I like the ease of use from the Davide Aspire tank so that's what I use most often, and I have a Kayfun at home filled with my favourite e-liquid.

Since I've been summoned....

I had a Davide and yep they were good, and if your happy with it then stick with it, but other stuff will give you a better vape. It's all down to what kind of path you wish to travel original/clone, cheap/expensive, genny/silica-based. Me? I headed off in all directions at once.

Have a browse of some websites, have a gander at the forum and see if there's something that catches your eye. There's bound to be a thread or an expert on the forum who can offer you sage advice Billie86 :)

I have 2 davides but they are letting me down this week, I replaced the coils on both of them with the spares that came with them, and the bdc ain't producing enough vapor all of a sudden and the bcc keeps getting burnt taste, so annoying as I love them, so I'm back using my clearos, it doesn't state on the coils what ohm they r so I'm assuming I have used one that isn't the right one for my bat, I'm still new to this so I don't even no if im making sence

It sounds like you have put a higher resistance coil in your Davide if you're getting less vapour. To fix this you need to buy some 1.8 ohm coils or buy a VV mod and increase the voltage.

The BCC is a mystery, a burnt taste usually means no juice getting to the coil or too much voltage from your battery (not likely). Try taking it all apart and starting again.

Alternatively, stick a carto in a tank, stick it on an eGo battery, this set-up has never failed me.
