Blitz Ivo MTL RTA Warning! (DO NOT BUY)

Update: They got back to me this morning, saying it was fine to send them back and they would sort me out store credit once they receive it which is good but I have replied asking to be refunded via Paypal as I should have the choice where I spend that money, somewhere else could offer a product they do not have and I should have the option to buy from them instead.

It is a tad presumptuous to think I wouldn't want to take my business elsewhere after this whole debacle, I may buy something from them but I also may like to give another retailer my business instead and I should have that choice.

Offer store credit first, rather than a choice of credit or refund, tbh ecigone aren't the first to do that.

No they're definitely not, it's quite a common thing, they don't want to actually lose money or business, I get it.

I've always had good service from ecig one, and never any problems. But it's how vendors act when something goes wrong that is the real test.

And to be honest, this really stinks, ignoring ocncerns and knowingly continuing to sell dangerous products.

I guess it's possible that the currently active staff don't know how to handle it and are waiting for a managment decision.

I have requested a refund, if they refuse, then i'll say i'll be going through paypal and will be.
I am trying to be understanding and patient with them, I don't want to damage their reputation or lose them any business, i'm just keeping everyone here in the loop with the information as and when it comes.

That's very respectful of you, but if their reputation / business is at the risk of somebody's face getting blown off, I'm all for them losing it.

Bit dramatic, I know, but it's within the realms of possibility.

It's not dramatic at all to be fair, there are novices out there that jump straight into using mechs without learning about battery safety or ohms law and such, it is definitely possible someone could get seriously hurt using this. While it is the user's responsibility to use the products safely, it should also be the manufacturer's to ensure the standards of their product make it fully safe to use before it is released to the public.

Another Update: Ecigone have replied again and said I can have a refund no problem, even double checked my return form for me to see that I had selected the refund option.
So all should be sorted in a couple of days with any luck, i'm still going to be keeping in touch with them in regards to approving my review and the product page still being up without any warning because people should be made aware.
