Thank You. It's an LM2596 board as supplied by Ethel King - 2A max load, 3 with heatsink and would probably cost more to make from components.

UPDATE:
Bodgefest has had one mod - a chopped down cartomizer rubber endcap affixed as a dust cap for the 510 socket. It has suffered 3 very hard 12 hour shifts at work and acquired some dents. It set off a magnet sensor from within my pocket when I was up a ladder and it has attracted some "What the f*** is that!?" questions.
But - it has performed impeccably and produces vapour at the rates I want and voltages I select. It's self contained too - everything in 1 box, not particularly vulnerable to dust. Schemes for MKII and III are hatching...
