What's new

Bristol City Council

This is great news, it is about time that something like this happened.
But..
I have a bit of a problem with this quote:
Over 99% of the vaping youth are already tobacco smokers.
I'd like to see the source of these statistics, just doesn't click right in my head. Maybe someone can explain this to me?

Edit: On a side note, the whole "95% safer" (i don't mean this in a negative way) thing has really taken off and i even see a lot of sources in my home country quoting the PHE. It seems to me that things are starting to kinda take off, as in, chances of changing the public mind are getting better.

Great to see local government taking a proactive stance. Not surprised it's Bristol, their record in the public health research field is world class (ALSPAC, just... Wow!). Best thing now would be for Brizzle residents to email their support to their MP.

I live across the water in Cardiff and as the report rightly brings out the council here are doing their best to ban vaping in public places. Good on you Bristol council and I hope others take note.

It's strange to see how different areas react differently to vaping. Nice to see Bristol on board. Will we see @puffinclouds as the next mayor of Bristol? [emoji23]

In bristol no one can take anything seriously, whenever there is a issue we all just drink cider ;)
