Broken 510 Pin. Advice Needed

HI All,

I'm hoping someone will be able to help me out with a problem I've got (all my own making really).

I have a Digiflavor Siren V2 24mm and I noticed the 510 pin was a little loose. Therefore I decided to reach for my screwdriver and tighten it up. Unfortunately I must have been too eager to get it really tight as the pin has now broken.

Have I totally ruined the tank or is it possible to buy replacements? I've searched on Google for replacement 510 pins but been unable to find anything suitable.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

TIA.

Try fasttech. The only risk is taking a chance that what you order will fit. I replaced a 510 pin in a tank with one from a different tank before so hopefully tou should be ok.
knowing the screw length will help you as the width should be ok but another idea is if you have any drippers the screw may fit from one of those

Unfortunately I don't have any other drippers. The only rebuildable I have is the Ares and that doesn't have a spare 510.

Thanks for letting me know about Fasttech, I'll check them out.

I'd add some medium thread lock on the conection,as you don't want it to become unattached every time you remove the tank.

It's a 2 piece pin (and if you've snapped the little bit off the end) I did exactly the same thing with mine, the positive/insulated side of the deck was loose no matter how tight I turned the pin (poor manufacturing) and if you don't remove the little bit first then it will snap off really easily... like others have said I managed to use a different pin from my spares box, a solid one piece one (and a couple of o-rings) to bodge it and that fixed the loose positive side too, so I think the threads aren't quite long enough on the original or something anyway as it was impossible to tighten it properly on mine.

The pin I used was the non-sqounk pin that came with the Hcigar maze 3 but that wasn't a perfect fit and I did have to use a few small o-rings underneath so it would tighten up properly.

I'll have a hunt around and see if I have anything else that will work but I don't think I have.

Just broken one of mine(totally gutted), wasn't expecting to happen but the screw broke off half inside the pin, too far in to remove(short of carefully drilling it out) but doesn't prevent me removing the center pin. Just grabbed 4 spares from aliexpress($10, pricey lesson to learn, but will be more careful in future), good job i have two of them. I measured the pin as having a total length of about 11mm, but couldn't find one on fast tech to match up on length, so took the punt on getting some authentics and buying enough to have spare. Geekvape do list the pins on their website but show as pre-order, so you can bet they probably won't be selling them again at this point.

If anyone found a pin from another tank to fit the Siren 2 perfectly, it would be helpful if you could share your findings here, sooner or later, found this thread just googling for a replacement pin.
