Buying as a present

Hi, i'm new to the crazy world of vapinng

I recently bought an E-cig from jacvapour.com, i only smoke socially at the weekends and about 20 rollies at that.

My brother is a fairly heavy smoker, smoking about 1 & 1/2 packs of 50 gm Golden Virginia per week. He wants to give up or at least cut down.

I want to buy him an E-cig for his birthday that will have a battery that will last most the day, it has to be a cigarette looky likey.

i have been told that the jacvapour model that i have doesn't have a good battery life, so would have to be charged regularly if you are a heavy smoker.

Can anyone advise me what to get and where from and what strength nicotine would be best?

Go for an ego 900 mah or bigger, they are bigger than a look a likey and you wont find one that looks like a cig that will last more than a couple of hours between recharges.

Yes you won't get a lookalikey that lasts all day. I believe if he really wants that form factor that Jacvapour do a PCC (portable charging kit) which is about the same size as a fag packet. You can keep one battery charging in there whilst you use the other. Just a thought.

Hello jams79 welcome, I agree with KulrMeStoopid as I started with a look alike cigarette which only lasted a few hours and soon got fed up with it to the point I nearly went back to smoking, so I went for an ego and never looked back.

I was a hardened rollie smoker too and I started with a cigalite thing and lasted a couple of hours then went back on the stinks for a week until I got an ego with a clearomiser and a bottle of virginia flavoured juice. I bought 2 ego 650's so that I could last an entire day lol. I started off with as close a taste to Virginia as possible for the first week then when I was comfortable I moved on to other juices I now tend to vape sweet juices and always have virginia juice for when I really feel like a rollie. I don't know if its just a mental thing but the Virginia juice calms me down if I get stressed as I still regard it pretty close to having a rollie lol

Just my 2 pence worth. I hope your friend can concur the fags

Darn good 2 pence worth as well ado28, I was the same wanted a tobacco flavour but then realised as my taste buds returned after smoking so many years they wanted to run riot with flavours.

Yes Mark, I HAD to simulate tobacco in the beginning otherwise I would have failed. Cigalites done bugger all for me as I tried them a few times and each time failed within a day. I knew if I could break the actual smoking habit first then I'd probably do better this time around. Almost 4 months in and I haven't touched a rollie or a fag thanks to my wee ego!

I was on about 18g of rolling tobacco a day. Those lookalikes lasted me about an hour. My missus had a charging case for them which would charge a lookalike battery 4 times (until she melted it by plugging it into the charger for my 10k mAh external battery). I got 3 hours out of a lookalike battery today by using a 306 dripping atty on it. The point being, it's all about the carto you put on it.

IMO the cartos that come with a lookalike are rubbish & a complete waste of time & money. Mine lasted me about 2 or 3 weeks before I upgraded to an Ego.

But yeah go for an Ego, 900 or 1000 mAh should last a day, but they dont look look fags, mind you nor does a roll up!
