Buying as a present

I started on the jacs, and still use them out and about, for cigalikes you can't really get better power, though there are one or brands at least comparable to them, but as Mark linked, the pcc, and one or two back-up ecigs would be a plan, otherwise, yeah, go for a bulkier model like egos mentioned, and with that sort, I reckon two 900mah ones would be the way to go, for form and functionality, my devices at this level are vision spinners vv, and they rawk. Welcome to the forum, by the way.

Hi jams79

Welcome to POTV

I have to agree with all the posts above, to my knowledge there is no look a like that will last you all day.

I started on the look a likes, though the batteries didn't last long and buying new cartridges became an expensive hobby, that and I was still smoking roll ups, it was only when I bought my first eGo and CE4 that I fully packed up the nasty smoking habit.

Any way, whatever E-cig you choose to gift, I'm sure the recipient will enjoy the experience, and move on from there.

Cheers guys, very informative.
Can anyone recommend an Ego 900 or similar? there is to much choice, i don't want to buy something that is'nt up to much

I would recommend an ego-c twist over a vision spinner for your purposes. Personally I prefer the spinner (I have both) as it has a longer lasting battery, but the ego twist is slightly slimmer. Loads of vendors do them, I'm trying to remember where I got mine, but a browse through the Discount Code section at the top of the page will yield a few.

My 900 is a twist VV and just ordered another, you have to search on the site though they don't show up in the main batt list for some reason

I'm an ex roll up smoker and went straight from smoking them to using this set up: http://www.vapeescape.co.uk/showdetails.asp?id=421 I know it's a basic kit, but I've not touched a roll up or proper cigarette since using this :bliss: The battery lasts me all day and the clearomisers are easy enough to fill/clean out.

I did try a liquorice tobacco flavoured juice (I smoked roll ups made with Amber Leaf using liquorice papers) and found that even though initially I quite liked it, the taste wasn't the same and I've gone off it. Now I'm mainly using Grizwalds Golden Burginia (so much so I've now got a 30ml bottle of it!) and I quite like some of the flavours that the very nice man from RoyalVapor sent me some samples of ;)

Though from what I read since joining this board is that it's very much "horses for courses". What suits one, may not necessarily suit another. And there's lots of nice shiny :shiny: things out there to tempt too.

HTH

It's a nice kit I love the ego and despite moving to VV I still always carry my ego with me, agree it is horses for courses and that's the beauty of Vaping such a great range to suit everyone.
