Cheap 72mg nic post TPD

Do you have an official document clearly stating that ?
As I seem to remember it in the same way as @JesusFoggingChrist

Yes, I have a number of documents and clarifications, after all its my job to import and export nicotine containing products.

Mine wasn't, I was simply asked to pay the import tax.

Yes but you already said you are importing as a business, I don't see how that makes any point about retail. Next time, do it as a customer and tell them it's nicotine as you are so sure you are right. There's no risk to you.

Am i right to say that if i can satisfy that what i intend to use the nicotine for is not contravening the TPD ie for an alternative use than vaping am i right if i say i can buy it from a uk seller and it is legal for a uk vendor to sell it to me?

Im not 100% sure but I don't think so as the only alternative use for nicotine was an insecticide but I believe it's use was banned for that purpose.

That's the reason the not for human consumption stuff started to try the loophole out but has recently been getting closed off.

As far as I'm aware, tpd regs apply to nicotine as a blanket product.

Most of whats been said about buying being the purchaser not being the one contravening the TRPR is correct and think maybe being over looked.
If you try an buy it in the uk you can only buy it as a B2B transaction for use in NRT to coin a phrase and to quote a uk nic vendor for the use in manufacture of other products that are exempt from the scope of "The Tobacco and Related Product Regulations 2016.
The reason its ok for B2B is that both B's can be regulated but jo public cant.
This article from 2016 is interesting and still resounds especially as this subject is still being debated.

I don’t think it is, the point people have been trying to make is that whether or not it’s illegal for the buyer, the transaction its of is illegal and customs can seize the nic or the shipper can return it, on that basis.

Thought the thread was about the legalities surrounding owning, buying, importing, and selling?

Well the thread started with a guy simply looking to buy some 72mg nic, but most of what’s been said about whether it’s unlawful for the buyer to buy it occurred after @PlumeBlu posted a screen grab of a message someone received from fedex, and the possible consequences of importing the 72mg nic. So whether or not it’s legal to buy it, the point of contention is whether it’s legal to receive it, if you live in the uk.
