Christmas Lockdown?

Sorry - can't see tweets?

Have been told today that bed occupancy in north east London hospitals is as high as 95% with local cases still expected to rise. Meanwhile the Nightingale hospital is practically empty because they didn't install toilets. The lack of foresight is staggering and will cost lives.

It's in an exhibition centre that has toilets & SJC added plumbing for the extra required. Karen strikes again :D

I'm pretty sure it was tweeted by Dame Margaret Hodge MP for Barking.

I've been in a factory today where there's around 1,200 people working and 170 ish have covid.
They've been blanket testing today, yesterday, and Wednesday and Thursday so they get everyone ans even got me while i was there because most of them don't get sick pay so wont declare they're I'll and wont isolate. :banghead:
I reckon that's going on where I work too. Cases in the building are sky rocketing, probably due to the massive influx of Xmas casuals we have in the building, who don't get sick pay.

One of my duties is as a workplace coach, unducting the temps into the business. It's only this week management have started sending people home for refusing to wear a mask or face shield without proof of exemption. I'm sick to death of listening to excuses why they can't/won't wear anytthing, and the amount of times I've had to try and reason with a fuktard spouting conspiracy shit.

I wish my lot would organise compulsory testing, as I'm pissed off reminiding people to keep their distance. I don't enjoy wearing a mask for an entire shift, but after seeing my Dad in ICU last year, I'm pretty sure I would enjoy that even less.

I'm glad I've slightly upped my nic intake, or someone would get hurt, and I'd be unemployed.

Whoever posted it is a fucking lunatic.
At one time I was visiting the NEC about three times a year, and the Excel Centre once a year.
Also the Manchester Convention Centre.
Of course they all have many toilets, what else would they do about thousands of visitors a day wanting to have a piss...........

I'm not sure the toilets in these venues would be suitable for incapacitated Covid patients?
And I'm pretty sure the hospital unit would be a pop up on a large scale erected within the unit and woukd have to be completely self contained so it would stand to reason it would need its own waste system?
