SS304 is 105, 316 is 91.5 and 316L is 92.

Could 316l be ran in 316 TC mode?

my dna only has 316 ni200 and titanium I don’t have a pc to update profiles and can’t find manual settings

If 92 for 316L isnt to your liking 110 is another common tcr for it

Looks that way? Although it’s been years since I have owned a 250 and can’t remember all the keys,
when I lock the watts and press - twice I get a choice of these profiles

Thanks @red5 I did think Titanium was for both VW and TC but have never used it and don't think i will in the future but it's nice to know.

Always found ni80 the best for flavour and how long my coils last, also clean very well too.

yes, it will work fine ... you might need to adjust the temp slightly but it will still work, they are close enough.

In my experience and personal opinion I find I get better fruit flavours with SS in temp control and better dessert/confectionery flavours from A1 Kanthal. Everyone’s tastebuds are different so it’s just trial and error.

@littleclouds you can use the https://www.steam-engine.org/wirewiz# to do that calculation....

enter your coil details then in the “temperature control results” box select “equivalents”, you can select the material you want the equivalent values for in the drop down (in your case ni200) and it will give you an approximate temp range to use.
