The Uwell Valarian Coils reccomended power is 95-120 watts.

Does this mean running these coils on anything under 95 watts will be damaging to the coil? or is it just that the coils won't work as well as they could within the reccomended range?

I'm mainly asking because I always thought with a new coil you were meant to firstly prime the coil with eliquid, and then start at a low wattage and work your way up. I just want to be sure by doing this I'm not damaging the coils running them below the reccomended wattage.

If I am meant to start at a low wattage with these types of coils, how low should I start?

I feel silly asking these questions, but I just want to be sure I'm doing things properly, as not had much luck with coils lately and they seem to be burning out quicker than they were before.

Would appreciate any advice, cheers.

Prime the coil, fill tank let it sit for a good few mins, then start at 20w few puffs, then increase by 5w few puffs at each wattage till you get up to range, the range is to give optimum performance for that coil running under you just wont get as good flavour / performance, no silly questions here just ask away

no damage what so ever.
you may not get the best cloud and flavour out of the coil but the lower it is the longer it will last.
ive been using crown coils since day 1 and am quite happy vaping at 50watts for all my custards. plenty of flavour and enough cloud on coils that are rated upto 80w and 120watt.

as Cozy said, start low. you wont get any taste or cloud at 20w but it is burning the coil in and still heating up inside. turn up a few watts every few puffs and slowly build up to your prefered wattage.
going straight in at 80 or 120 is a sure fire hit that will burn the coil out very fast.

Only you can determine what range you should vape at. I vape at 40 - 50 watts but my coils are rated from 80 to 110 watts. Anything above 50 offers no additoaddi benefit other than a bigger cloud but the taste and cloud I currently get as well as the flavour of course is acceptable to me.

Hmm OK, thanks. Maybe i will experiment with lower power then, see how I get on. Not so much worried about clouds, I'm all about flavour really.

It's only a recommendation. You can run the power as low as you like as long as you get a good vape.
