Oh and does it matter ( ohms) which thickness at to what or the higher ohms you get thanks

diffrent thick ness does affect the ohms, i use 0.2 mm wire a good place is stealth vape , but im sure some one with more knowledge will be able to help you out better x

+1 for the .20 kanthal along with 2mm silicon. 4/5 wraps should be perfect. Both from stealthvape. Other vendors are also available.

What would be the best wire to use in a protank on a vamo v5? I like clouds? :D

For my Kanger coil heads i use 28AWG A1 Kanthal following RipTrippers tutorial then use organic cotton for wick, iirc its like 9 or 10 wraps around a 28g needle, comes to 1.1-1.3 ohms

Thicker wire means less resistance, in AWG the lower the number is thicker wire. its best to get an ohm checker or multimeter and experiment.

if you like clouds then i would say get a mech and a dripper, if you dont want to go down that route you need to know what the lowest resistance coil your device will fire and wrap to that resistance.

The prob with pt is you won't get enough airflow to blow big clouds. The kanthal I think is best for these is .2 or.25mm.

Sub ohms aren't something I'm really into but getting the best out of a protank and vamo would do fine. I have a mech mod but haven't bothered building it yet. :)

people have different preferences, and for a protank mini my preference is to use 32 AWG Kanthal. There's not a lot of room in a mini protank head, and the thinner wire gives me the flexibility to vary number of wraps for resistances from 1.3 up 2.0 ohms and produce coils that I know will fit in comfy. I also find that thinner gauge wires are less likely to damage that little insulator and increase the amount of re coiling a head can take before it is past it's best.
