Coil wire

people have different preferences, and for a protank mini my preference is to use 32 AWG Kanthal. There's not a lot of room in a mini protank head, and the thinner wire gives me the flexibility to vary number of wraps for resistances from 1.3 up 2.0 ohms and produce coils that I know will fit in comfy. I also find that thinner gauge wires are less likely to damage that little insulator and increase the amount of re coiling a head can take before it is past it's best.

Mines just a standard protank. How hard is it to coil one?

All the protank coils are the same, a little fiddly at first but easy with a bit if practice
