In my opinion your vaping on a 1.8 ohm coil on too high a wattage
You should be around 9-10 watts at most..from experience anything over 11 watts and your always going to burn the coil.
Hi sorry..No your right just noticed it’s nautilus “ X”coils and are rated at 12-16 watts and your vaping at 14 watts so now I can only think the coils are fake or dodgy..You may be right, but it literally states on the side of the coil itself "12-16 watts" - maybe they just want to sell a lot of coils? Thing is, flavour doesn't come out till over 14 watts, so I never questioned it.
Anyway, definitely time to try another device, and will def be looking into RTA's.
Nobody was using SS when the 40w istick came out, indeed plenty of mods only supported ni200 or ti01 around that time and there was no TCR function.TC40w only does ni and ti. I've got 2 of the things and it always annoys me that they didn't include ss on the board. I never build ti or ni200
This was my initial thought as well, are the Nautilus and Nautilus X coils different then?In my opinion your vaping on a 1.8 ohm coil on too high a wattage

The X uses the u-coil which is larger than the standard Nautilus coils. That threw me when I first got the X after using the standard nauti miniThis was my initial thought as well, are the Nautilus and Nautilus X coils different then?
