Coils giving burnt taste very quickly - advice to avoid?

How do you find the Nautilus X? Do you find the coils have a decent life-span?

I haven't used it for a while. I found they weren't too bed for life span with the 50/50 juices I was using. Original Nautilus coils Def late longer tho. The X was a big disappointment for me personally. I had high expectations for it which didn't happen. Same with the 2. The original still beats both, although the 0.7 coil that came out with the 2 was a good coil

See the thing for me is this:

I do the bed in the coil and build the wattage up;
I do use a needle to create air and space for the juice in the Vaporesso coil;
I do try to avoid chain vaping; and
I do make sure I prime the coil

And yet, foo reasons I cannot explain, I still get dry hits from time to time. Happened last night twice. Today the coil is perfect. Same liquid, same methods.

It's frustrating as f.....
