So i have always kept with the same thing for ages now, however i am now moving towards rebuilding.

So the website i shop from sells a wide range of coils. They sell 10 coils from coilolgy for 3.65 then 10 for 11.21 then they will sell a duel coil for around 6-8 euros.

Does it mean the more you pay the better the coils will be.

Now i do understand it does normally mean better for example with a car spending more does mean better quality. [ sometimes] lol.

So if anyone could give me some ideas on what to expect from what i would get from all types it would be great

Before buying coils you should consider
What are you puting them in.
What type of vape are you looking for.
Do you like to vape high power or low power.

The best coil is the one that gets you the vape you want.
For my style the best coil is a simple one made with kanthal that costs me almost nothing.
if you want huge clouds using 100 watts then a chunky expensive coil might be what you need.

This i understand. But the two sets of coils i bought with 7 euros price i dont see a huge difference. both ohm out around 0.18 as a duel. I do like to vape between 80w and 100w.

Way out of my department then.
Low power mech user here so will leave others to advise.

I understand @Smut is a coil ninja.

The coilology ones will be mass produced on a fancy machine that goes whirr and whap, that's why they are relatively cheap. The others might have been made in a small batch by just one guy with a wee machine that goes whirr.
Theoretically the more you pay the better, but as with say apple or mercedes, it isn't always true. Unless it works just finest kind for you...

The different types of fancy coils all essentially do the same thing, get hot and make vapours and burn cotton, the performance difference is negligible or personal preference. It's like the difference in Malts available in the supermarket really.

I've heard that quality hand-made coils can last months, whereas the Coilology multipacks I use survive only one dry burn and have to be discarded, so last no more than 2 weeks.

I personally don't dry burn and re-use so they last me a week, but they cost very little - I guess it's like anything else, a M+S T-shirt costs twice that of a Primark but lasts twice as long.

I have a set of coils that were installed into my tfv8 rba. I have used them for ages every time I change the cotton I dry burn and then run under water and then use again. This is why I asked this question. Many people I speak too or even when you watch let's say a YouTube video always say they last for months

Of the three sets of coils I'm running at the moment, I have a pair of Coil Art Fused Claptons in my Rebirth RDA. I've never even had to re-wick them in over a month of use and they still produce the goods daily. My Zeus build, has a similar pair of Fused Claptons running at 0.19/ 70w ohms. This one gets a re-wick every couple of weeks, but the coils get a dry burn and run under the tap and they're good as new. My Baron has again, Fused Claptons, never been re-wicked yet, it runs at 0.12 ohms/ 65w, no drop off in flavour or cloud, all is good.
The only one I've had to change the coil in, is the Themis Mesh and that's only because I trashed the mesh on a rebuild.
These are all middle of the road coils and they all seem to be lasting well. If you look after them, there's no reason you shouldn't see 2-3 months use before having to change them out.
All of these builds are using my own juice with sweeteners added, so I know what I should be getting.
