I think waitforit88 was simply trying to point out that adding food colouring to your mixes is very unusual and it might be unwise. No need to get unpleasant about it.

Well according to the experts in this thread there aren't any blue juices because coloured juices are dangerous. Heisenberg is therefore a figment of your imagination.

Why not just add colouring straight to the tank and not the mix?

I might give that a go but they're very concentrated, just a few drops to a 30ml bottle of juice so it would be difficult to use in smaller amounts. What I'm really trying to find out is whether colour loss is a common thing or I'm just using a rubbish brand.

I asked a perfectly straightforward question. I did not invite sarcasm, smartarsery, or arrogant twats presuming to tell ME what I should or shouldn't like. Apart from anything else my juice HAS to be coloured so I can see how much is in the tank.

Now, if you have anything helpful to add, go for it. Otherwise, butt out.

Anyway what are we talking here, about 0.5 % of a mix, what ratio do you use icepie ?

Nothing like that much. They vary but the most highly concentrated of the ones I use is yellow and it's 3 or 4 drops to a 30ml bottle of juice plus one drop of red to make a tea colour, so really tiny amounts.
