I added a few drops of food colouring from Morrisons to a 250ml batch of apple & kiwi...
Mainly out of curiosity and to help distinguish between the 8 or so flavours I have on the go.
It's still coloured in the big bottle, but as soon as I fill a 30ml one, it goes clear after 10 minutes.
I've sent Fred Dinenage an email in the hope of a scientific explanation.

If I wanted to know whether colouring my juice was a good idea, that is the question I would have asked. I didn't. I asked if anyone knew a brand that didn't fade.

Well as I said earlier in this post, the use of colouring is far more common than some other apes think.
So just counted the participants in this post, looks like 13, 3 have used colouring's, so that's about 23 %, not so rare eh !!!!!!!!!!!!
Plus there were only a few apes who expressed a meaning full input, just non answers, and abuse, so I would rate it as meaningful / constructive comments that 50 % use or have tried colour.........
