What's new

Coming soon

Mech mods scare tbh dude. See too many horror stories about people not using them correctly and I don't wanna be in the same category as I wouldn't know where to begin but I love the look of them and I would jump at most of them if I knew how they worked
Common misconception about mechs being scary mate its all i use, just need to know ur battery safety and check ur builds before using and have some common sense-all if which you probably do already ;) the only folks who have issues are the ones who cant resist pushing a cell too far or button locks not being put on

New 3d printed mech coming soon looks ok should be well priced too as not the high end/cost printing

Any idea what the price will be? Been eyeing up the 26650 Frankies but for that price, you could buy a 3D printer from GearBest and knock one up yourself.

Speaking of which, I'm thinking of making a Squonk mod. It won't be pretty but if it works out, I may start a little venture .....

No bud ive asked publicly and privately hes not spilling yet but i think itll be affordable (im thinking two figures) as its not the superfine finish printing and that's cheaper, ill be sure to update ya though
Sounds great bud whats ur plans? Ive a delrin enclosure from florid on way but gonna get a pro to build up as I'm useless

I've got no idea as yet. I'll come up with something. Probably just a Hammond box or similar with some holes in it (unless I decide to buy a 3D printer ....

My Steamcrave squonker was a battery hungry mod, also failed after a month. Luckily purchased from good vendor and got my cash refunded.
Tried to buy a Frankie last night in the pop up sales on the fb page. Didn't go in my favour so back hunting for an aluminium SVA multicap or a Frankie

Be a good investment a 3d printer, I have looked into them myself some time ago and again recently. The type of plastic filament would be a high grade type I assume.

Eyed one on gearbest, then thought instantly, that's just not worth the nightmare of dealing with gearbest :)

I think I could manage something along those lines to start. I was thinking 26650, MOSFET, mitec switch and a bottle (although I'll probably make a dog's dinner of the Squonk hole - probably best to try ABS in the first instance)
