Hi there, my name is Steve, I am a 53 year old cigarette addict, I have tried hypnosis, champix and zyban all to no avail, due to one reason or another (drug induced depression with one anti smoking tablet and a severe allergic reaction to the other). You may have noticed that I have not included willpower in this list; as, as far as nicotine is concerned I have NO willpower. Earlier this year I bought a Gamucci Micro Cartomizer and was amazed that I could free my self from the dreaded tobacco, I have since returned to tobacco after some 8 weeks, due to family/financial problems. I now want to buy a new nicotine delivery system and I am interested in any advice that you guys on the forum have with regards a good, to very good starter pack, as I am a little confused about Clearomizers, Spinners, Wicks and Drip Tips etc.

I understand that some of the art of vaping is down to individual choice and taste but I need to know what I should be looking at as a good starting point. I can not run out of battery so at least two, one always on charge and one in use. What spares would you guys advise (clearomizers, spinners, wicks etc etc) I intend to purchase something tomorrow (pay day) after seeing what advice you can give, as I need to kick tobacco into touch as soon as possible. Sorry for the short notice and length of this post, but any advice would be gratefully received.

:welcome1:Welcome fella your in the right place and amongst friends, you will get loads of help and advice from the ppl here, you will soon be rid of the dreaded weed.

Hi @Steve Jo welcome to the planet. First of all what budget do you have to spend as this will help people advise, I am sure I seen a vendor advertised on here from your parts, that would be a good starting point if you have a local dedicated shop. Getting hands on with the kit is half the battle.

A good starting point would be to get a couple of Ego Cs. They are in expensive and a decent stepping stone into the more powerful devices. When I got mine, I think they were about £30 for 2. They last long enough and a kit will come with clearomisers. You then just need juice and some spare atomiser heads.
I tried the e-lites but don;t bother, they are a waste of time. If you are new to vaping, the Egos are decent enough to kick the stinkies.
Best of luck.

hello and welcom Steve Jo don't be sorry buddy we were all beginners at one point I would suggest taking a look at both the wiki and the marketplace as there are some good vendors on there - a good starter pack I would reccomend is this http://myepack.co.uk/evod-starter-kit.html - Kanger are one of the best known ecig brands and with this kit you get two batteries 2 evod tanks and a charger I would reccomend picking up some juice as well - as I said the marketplace is best - my personal favourites are bestcigliquid for tobacco flavours black fire in particular - Fruit mix from Empvap Black ice from Empvap and MrKraken squid ink - other than that there is a site called smoke rainbow which sells 1ml samples for 60p each so you could try lots of different ones without spending a fortune buddy - Enjoy the forum happy vaping and if we can help just ask!!
:welcome2:

If you live in Tyne & wear and needed something tomorrow vip have a stand in the beacon shopping centre or try the galleries. The photon tank range is what I have and is very good. Buy one or two liquids to include triple menthol and go for the higher strength nicotine level. The staff will help you and you can try before you buy. Batteries last at least a day before needing a charge so maybe buy an extra one. Once you have the kit you can experiment with different liquids in time. Failing vip try and track down an ecig shop they seem to be popping up everywhere you may something by just doing a google search, good luck mate

Egigwizard have just opened a shop in Sunderland (Park Lane next to the interchange) decent quality gear and friendly approachable staff.

Looking at stuff online I do not want to buy El Cheapo, but have no idea what is a reasonable price, I would be willing with the wife's blessing to spend a max of £40 to £50 as I do need to stop with the dreaded weed. Thanks for the help Steve J
