Coronavirus UK Daily Statistics

The daily cases graph shows we have 42,737 cases being dealt with as of 05/04.
The cases being added daily have just jumped from 3,735 added on 04/04 to a further 5,903 added in the following 24hrs to 05/04.

Its only taken just over three weeks to get here.
Sobering!

I've a feeling it will keep rising for a while now they're testing more people?

That’s my thinking too. I also think this virus has been in the country a bit longer than the official stats show.

I do wonder, especially after both OH and I came down with temperatures and a raging cough at the end of February. Who knows ...........

It’s a bit frustrating that there’s not enough testing for people like yourselves who’ve had something that *could* have been CV. Have you filled out the Symptom app somebody posted on here? Without much wider availability of tests, it’s probably the best bet for helping the scientists get a clearer picture of who’s had it.

I haven't, mainly because I don't 'do' apps ............ :8:

I'd happily take a test though. TBH it was so long ago I've (thankfully) forgotten most of it ....... the only record is a bit of whingeing on here. :D

That's a good point. A TV reporter tested positive, for antibodies, even though they were unaware of being ill. I wonder how many others are in the same boat.
