Coronavirus UK Daily Statistics

Yeah, I didn't have anything else going on. Felt fine otherwise and the people I associated with like friends and family didn't get it so obviously not contagious. I'm probably reading more into it than there is.
Not normally one to get colds and flu so just made me wonder.
Glad you got over it.
I had a strange one mid-Jan. A hangover like headache with a proper sore throat, I mean it was red raw when I looked in the mirror. No other symptoms and it only lasted 3-4 days. I wonder if I had a little touch of it? Fortunately I didn't infect anyone around me [emoji1303]

I had a red throat with it but put that down to the forced coughing. It probably wasn't this virus. People's minds are just racing with thoughts at the moment. Covid 19 is so contagious that we would have passed it on to family and friends wouldn't we.

Yeah, you'd think so.

I read something about there now being at least 2 strains of the virus. One that mutated from the other. My theory is that the Chinese only caught on when people started dying from the second strain, which in my mind means the first strain had likely already made it’s way around the globe. I’m no expert on this stuff, just going off a few bits I’ve picked up, could well be talking bollocks

Indeed. Type S and Type L. The latter being more aggressive I believe.
Anything is possible Leni but I shall never know for definite without being tested and that's unlikely to happen.
