Hopefully I'm wrrong but the figures are likely to rise substantially as the cases from the rest of the UK's major cities start to show themselves.
Yes it looks like London is levelling out but Birmingham and Sheffield are increasing and then it will sweep through Nottingham, Leeds, Bradford, Newcastle, etc through Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Stirling.......
Obviously I hope the semi lockdown has done enough to keep cases low.

That’s my thinking too. I also think this virus has been in the country a bit longer than the official stats show.

I also was wondering that. I know people can get paranoid in times like these but I had a terrible dry cough from the end of December last year to about mid February. It actually made me physically sick a couple of times I was coughing that hard as I couldn't get my breath. Nothing I took would shift it. I didn't have anything else, no temperature or anything.
I've spoken to a few (back in January) that had the same.
It was probably just a normal type bug but it makes you wonder.

Mick I was similar to you mid January and I was mixing with a lady at the football whose daughter an English teacher in China was home on holiday, I was floored for a fortnight it was a struggle to move never mind stand up, my Mrs thinks for some reason I had a mild dose but I don't think so, I put it down to a bad case of flu which Is unusual for me, I did have a high temp though in fact lathered.

Yeah, I didn't have anything else going on. Felt fine otherwise and the people I associated with like friends and family didn't get it so obviously not contagious. I'm probably reading more into it than there is.
Not normally one to get colds and flu so just made me wonder.
