Coronavirus UK Daily Statistics

Today's figures are a little concerning given it's a weekend and we know the figures are normally not all collated at a weekend.

The UK's coronavirus death toll in hospitals has passed 20,000 after rising by 781 in 24 hours.

It brings the number of victims to 20,287.

The tragic figure comes less than a month after NHS England medical director Stephen Powis said he was optimistic deaths could be kept below 20,000.
Deaths outside of the hospital setting were at least 1662 up to April 10th.

I reckon the true figure now all in is around 30k. IMHO.

Apparently they're changing the reporting system for day died instead of day registered. Will be much more accurate on a daily basis.

Just been reading the care home estimate alone in total is 7,500

40k+ seems a little high IMHO. That appears to be counting around 10k deaths in the domestic home setting above what's counted in hospitals and care homes.

Could well be tho. I really hope it's not that high. :(

The thing is i think the whole world is not giving the true figures.
North Korea for example who border China say they have no cases.

I don't think you can tar the West or other democratic countries around the world with the same brush as a country like North Korea.

This is the world stats for covid 19
If UK figures at 40k are correct, that means 20% of all deaths are in the UK
My guess is the true total deaths could be over 1 Million
