To be fair, it makes no more sense to count someone who did test positive for Covid-19 and then 'got hit by a bus'. George Floyd could have been counted as a Covid-19 death by that measure? From what I read the count was brought more in line with what the rest of Europe was doing. Either way it's a fudge?

yeah, it's nonsense .... there's a case where someone was literally hit by bus that was counted as a covid death because they tested positive. There was also a case very early on before lockdown where the family were saying "No, they didn't die of Covid" and everyone was just dismissing them. @zouzounaki you are being played mate. They used these stats to justify the lockdown and they are using the new stats to justify the easing.
