Any ideas where i can get safe untreated cotton wicking material heard bad things about glass fibre have started making my own coils for ego u ce4 clearomizer tank

I think a lot of folk get it off ebay or use cotton pads to roll their own.

I agree with you about regular fibreglass and wouldn't touch it but silica wick is much less fibrous and holds together better. Using some myself in a nova

Cotton roll would be best... So you can pull lumps off instead of trying to pull a cotton pad apart.....

Remember though the cotton will have a grain as such so when you roll it into a wick try and go with the grain
