I've been using a innokin endura t18 for the last 2 years. It's helped me quite smoking. However, I would like something with a longer battery life since i have to charge it way too often and i don't enjoy the dependency on pre built coils.

Could i just buy a hell vape destiny rta and stick it on a geek vape aegis legend 200w?
I don't know much about rta's and stuff.
Could i just buy any coils or do i have to buy specific ones?
Is there anything i have to buy along with it apart from batteries, battery charger, cotton, coils.
I've looked online a bit. But there isn't really a beginner friendly video to get up and running.

Also, i'm trying to get a friend quit smoking. What would be a good vape to get them? would an innokin endura pen like I have still be a good option. or would a pod device be better? like a uwell caliburn. ( also can you clean a pod like a tank on a pen?)

Sorry about this. But i don't know where to turn.

Hi @hanklowdown and welcome to the planet.

I dont use rebuildables so cant help on that or the coils but the L200 is a great mod and yes you can use rda/rta on that mod as a quick google shows it comes with a 510 adapter.

For your friend a pod system might be the better option. tagging @DeeDee aka (Pod Queen)

this is worth bookmarking while you wait for others to advise. post 5 is our recommended hardware suppliers POTV Vendors & Recommended E Liquid Suppliers

You could get a destiny and put it on a legend but that's a totally different style of vaping. The endura puts about 14w and is an MTL (mouth to lung) device but the destiny is really a DL (direct lung) tank designed for higher wattage. You might be better off looking for an MTL RTA if you want to get into rebuildables.
For a mod such as the legend yeah you'd need batteries and a charger and for RTAs you need coils, cotton and some tools eg good scissors, wire cutters, ceramic tweezers and screwdrivers.

The caliburn has a built in coil so when that's done with you just throw the pod away so no need to clean it.

Thanks for that. I've currently been using vaping101 for vaping stuff in general. They're very good. However, it seems they go out of stock fast. So thanks for that list.

Hi @hanklowdown and welcome.

Agree an MTL tank would be better if you have had an endura. The other benefit to MTL is that your battery will last much longer.

If you're looking to get into rebuildable coils, you could do worse than a hellvape vertex. They are available relatively cheaply ATM (£15 ish) and are very decent tanks, easy to build too.

They will go on just about any mod with a 510 connection.

If you get a dual 18650 battery mod, or even a single 21700 battery mod these will last you longer too.

Yh, i've never tried direct to lung. The destiny description said it did both. That's why i considered it. Is there a MTL RTA that you recommend? I would preferebly like to get it from https://vaping101.co.uk/ since i would prefer to get everything from one site.

There's also so many coils available i don't know which would go right for which rta. Is there a general one fits all?

Also with the tools, Which ones would i have to go outright and buy because something like scissors. We've all got scissors at home.

too answer your question yes you could put the hellvape destiny on a legend, but that vape would be nothing like an endura T18, the hellvape destiny is a flavour monster & i use 2.5mm fused clapton coils

from Jag hilly trading & use 3mm cotton laces, how ever like others have said i would try a mtl tank like the hellvape vertex first..

Yh, a mtl is probably best for me. Should I purchase the vertex from this site? i have only used vaping101 so am a bit skeptical.

Also with mods. Since you say a mtl would use less energy. Would a "lost vape grus 100w" be better since i will spend less money and if i don't like this style of hardware. I wouldn't have wasted a lot of money.

Thanks for you post. with the vertex, What coils would i have to buy to accompany it?
