It should be noted that the couple in the story were eventually apologised to and the council admitted to making a mistake.

Still doesn't excuse the initial lazy, narrow mindedness though and the fact that 13 other councils say they won't place kids with vapers is a disgrace.

Surely,the emphasis should be on locating suitable caring secure homes for young people?

Social workers eh. They no nothing of the real world. Semi educated fucking jobs worth no hopers. What fucking god given right do they think they have to tell us how we should behave when there are folk out there trying to give an unfortunate child a good home, etc.
I seem to recall many social workers not seeing the signs as far as child abuse goes, and children dying as a result.
