Wondering if you'd be able to do a tip in the style of the Nautilus 2s steel one? Think they're about 30mm long though. It's for the missus, she's very fussy.

That's great mate. Nah, I know they're resin, just wanted to show you the style.

Custom bell end tip for @MHL today!

This is a custom mix of brown and bronze pearl flip.

2mm bore for MTL and 15mm tall.

It’s really hard to capture the colours on a camera but I’ve done my best

How viable is a tip that is gold, very gold (two different shades/types or maybe a colour to provide some contrast) but with black swirls like the toxic green one above? What options would need to be chosen?

Good question! The honest answer is it’s pot luck on custom mixes almost. I have very little control over how the resin moves once it’s poured, what pattern it makes or how thick the lines are etc.

I do have various gold pigments though so it won’t be a problem to make different shades [emoji16]

I understand the randomness of the pattern, just wary that I wouldnt want something that is just a rough muddle/poor contrast or a bit like its been blended.. But as you say, a lot of that is beyond your control!


Would want it to be more like a gold base with black details/lines rather than black with gold (if that makes sense)

Yeah totally get that mate, it’s always tricky with custom stuff isn’t it ordering before you’ve seen it.

Keep your eyes peeled on the thread, often there is a little left on each blank to squeeze another tip off so if you see anything you like, I may well have a little left on it
