Diacetyl in Liquids makes BBC news

Stripping away the guff, there is a real story here.

Diacetyl should not be found in any liquid for vaping and this is what happens when fucknuts think they can earn a quick profit by punting any old crap out to vapers.

If people can't regulate themselves then in cases like this I find the proposition of regulation a good one.

What would help is if there was a juice manufacturers trade body with a voluntary code of practise. Juices not bearing the body's logo would be instantly identifiable and it would be possible to check a liquid was listed with them.

This story should not be happening, the fact that it is ought to spur us as a community into a proactive response.

What pisses me off is that we have juice makers taking what they do really seriously, knowledgeable about the dangers and investing in stuff like clean room tech - and then you get cunts with some concentrates cashing in on ignorance.

Exactly, a shit world of crap is going to descend on us again tomorrow..

Precisely.

And sort your avatar out mate. You can't see it.

Or as said here on Merseyside " I'm fummin" :D

Where in Merseyside are you? I travel about in my job. When I've got a job on Liverpool way, I love it. Fooking scousers. Funny as fuck.

Happy people with the best sense of humour in the country.

I'm very disappointed with that BBC article. What started off as excellent news information regarding the dangers of Diacetyl, when inhaled, could have remained as admirably positive which should have been used for the benefit of the vaping community and promote awareness to take interest in what you are buying and that products ingredients.
Instead, the article drifted into scare mongery waffle and became just an insignificant generalisation.
BBC missed an opportunity to promote a health issue to an audience of 100% and applicable to those for and those against.

I'm not actually a scouser though, - I'm known locally as a wooly back as I live in St. Helens
