Diluting VG

What they do is use 100% VG and fill an empty bottle to half it's volume, it doesn't matter what else goes in that bottle as long as the total volume is not more than double the VG volume that they put in. Where confusion often comes in is the fact that most flavourings are PG based. If you want 50/50 in a 10 ml bottle using 20% flavouring then you need 5ml of 100% VG, 2ml of flavouring (counts as PG) and 3ml of 100% PG. Total VG 5ml (50%) and PG 5ml (50%). You could argue that the actual flavour isn't PG but the volumes are too marginal to worry about it. Hope that helps and i'm not teaching you to suck eggs. :)

You forgot the Nic.

Yep, my suggestion was just a 'rough and ready' way to get instant distilled water, I'd buy a bottle.

I would suggest that when you do dilute your juice with distilled water though, you do it a very little bit at a time, and shake it well and let it settle before trying it - I added far too much distilled water the first time, and I ended up having to add more vg again, and still I was unable to get a good consistency - so I find that, as the saying goes, "less is more" in this case, or as my wood shop teacher in high school drilled into my head (literally, with a ruler or 2 by 4 at times lol), you can always cut more off, but you can never put more back ON lol...or in this case, you can always put more in but you can never take more OUT :)

Well I was wrong in thinking that VG needs pre diluting before using with the PG. I have used pure 100% VG in a 60/40 PG/VG mix and it vapes and tastes lovely.

Problem solved!
That's the truth! Not problem solved - realising there isn't a problem in the first place. Happy days.
