DiY Mixing by weight - Do I have need anything else?

Nah can't see myself making batches of 5ml or less but would like to be as accurate was possible when mixing juice by weight so if it means spend a few extra bob to get there right thing then guess I'll have too.
Trust me, you need scales accurate to 0.01g. Everyone here uses these ones.

Mixing by weight is far more accurate but only if you have scales like the ones mentioned as it's not just most scales aren't to 0.01g a lot are quite jumpy unfortunately i don't have such scales so use ml's. When i get scales i'll switch but in no rush because i'm making some nice e-liquid which i enjoy.

That's the beauty of mixing by weight. You just drop concentrates in straight from the bottle.

I'm with you, I've only just started diy'ing and I do everything by weight.

I do this at work being a pharmacologist, everything is W/V apart from specialist stuff.

Two decimal scales will always jump because of air movement, you breathing over them will make them react.

If you're making very small batches I agree using volume is easier, not necessarily more accurate unless you're using borax glass or similar.

If i had quality scales i would use them but i find using ml's accurate enough.

Right ... as a home mixer it's about being able to replicate, it's not about being scientifically accurate.
I was initially reluctant to switch from the syringes but what won me over was the time saving, which is significant.

@Mr Numpty is correct, you really need scales accurate to 0.01g. I mixed with scales for a while accurate to 0.1g and it led to some frustration. I still use the 0.1g scales though as they measure up to 2kg, the 0.01g scales only measure up to 200g. Having both scales is very useful.
