DiY Mixing by weight - Do I have need anything else?

Right ... as a home mixer it's about being able to replicate, it's not about being scientifically accurate.
I was initially reluctant to switch from the syringes but what won me over was the time saving, which is significant.

@Mr Numpty is correct, you really need scales accurate to 0.01g. I mixed with scales for a while accurate to 0.1g and it led to some frustration. I still use the 0.1g scales though as they measure up to 2kg, the 0.01g scales only measure up to 200g. Having both scales is very useful.
Because i am only making for me and the wife and i always have loads bottled and some steeping i am never in the position where i need to mix, so i tend to mix when i'm bored so that it takes time i really don't mind.

Thanks for everyone chiming in and giving their opinions/advice..

Im already sold on the fact of mixing via weight, I've only been DiYing for few days and I already hate the syringes. It was fun on the first day but now I just wanna mix the easiest way possible and enjoy it a the same time.

I'll be grabbing those scales @Mr Numpty linked in the thread and the other stuff I posted in my original post (minus the Pipettes)

No, they're good to go. I bought the weight a while after the scales but I've only calibrated twice and I had no reason to think that they needed calibrating on either occasion.

Awesome thanks.

I have been looking around and stumbled across this scale > https://www.amazon.co.uk/Corlfe-Pre...s-Platform/dp/B01INYIWTU/ref=cm_cd_al_qh_dp_t

They look good too, just slightly bigger then the ones you linked, cheaper and you have the option of turning off the "auto off feature" which I really liked.

Couple of the comments on the product are from DiY mixers and seemed positive. Thought id share incase anyone else is looking.

Yes, there seem to be quite a few similar ones. I don't know if there is any significant difference between them or not, but I chose the ones I linked to because of the bright display.

I took the makemyvape scale. I only had a quick look at it before I purchased it. I didn't know it was only going to be a one decimal scale. It does state that it's best used for 50-100ml batches. It has a "one minute switch off setup". Mine switched off in the midst of me pouring in juices and it doesn't remember where you left of. :11: I did buy the syringes as well, they're very helpful.

I bought 10x30ml bottles and 10x100ml bottles from other vendors. The 100ml bottles are great, designed to be squeezed repeatedly and often opened. The 30ml bottle feels like it's gonna break before I've emptied it for the first time and the top seal sort of broke soon on one.
