do pods taste better than rebuildable tanks or drippers?

having used basically the same set up for 10 yrs i'm intrigued by people saying that pods taste better.
 
sauté them in butter with some garlic then stick some sauce on it and they might :)
 
I don't know that they taste better, but I have probably 40 or 50 RTA/RDA/RDTA's and I have barely touched one in 6 months. I don't feel like I'm missing anything...

so they're just more convenient?
 
No, they are an easy way to milk the gullible who need to buy something afflicted with FOMO.
 
'Better' is completely subjective, the few pods I've used do make liquids taste different... if you prefer the taste then you might consider that 'better' if not you'll probably think it tastes worse.
 
The poddy mesh coils do seem to produce a very strong, saturated flavour. For me this worked well for fruit flavours. However most of the time I'm using rtas and get all the flavour I need from tobaccos.
 
I love my orion 2 for one particular fruit liquid (that Im running out of) but RTAs are my first love
