Do you need to mix up your juice regularly?

Hey folks,

I bought 100ml of 18mg Hangsen e-juice two weeks ago. Over the last five days I've been getting a lot more vapour,serious throat hit and one hell of a nicotine hit. I can reeeeally taste the nicotine,far more so than before.

I'm definitely no chemist,so my question is do you need to shake up your e-juice now and then to get all the ingedients in the rigjt proportions? I assumed the nicotine would be evenly suspended throughout the liquid,but perhaps this isn't the case. My pot of juice has been pretty much stationary and I've just been dipping in with a syringe for refills. Maybe PG is heavier than VG,so it sank. That could explain the extra TH,but not the extra vapour. Maybe I'm about to burn out my first coil and I don't know the signs. (I have flushed it regularly though).

Also,is it possible that the resistance can fall on an atomiser coil,thus producing more vapour? I don't see how this could be possible. If anything,surely resistance could only increase due to the coil getting covered in crud and the general deteriation of the wire's conductive properties over time due to constant heating and cooling. (Vision clearomiser in this case. 2.4 ohm).

Any thoughts would be mucho appreciated.

It wont do any harm too give it a shake up before use and juices can alter after steeping for a few weeks dont know about the ohms going down ,like you said they will go up after a while
Im sure @KMS had some juice start too seperate after a few weeks
just shake it up

The lowering of the ohms (sounds like a movie title right?) is because of gunk on the coils it happens to all of us. As for the juice, it's been steeping, so its bound to do one of two things, go really rank or go really good. Are you getting a peppery taste?(that would be the nicotine)

Also PG is lighter than VG If the juice has been sat in one spot with the lid off (or even on) the entire time, you could have some settling/separation going on and good shake should sort it out.

Well,I've just put my hooter in the pot and let's say I'm getting more nicotine than the pleasant slightly caramel aroma I should be getting from this Virginia Tobacco flavour juice (and was). If it's had it I'll be cheesed off because I have about 45ml left. I always immediately put the lid back on as soon as I've refilled my clearo.

I'm getting that horrible sort of overly nicotine taste and head you get if you chew nicotine gum incorrectly (too quickly). Peppery...yes,very. Vapour....more than from my iGo-L !!! Not much in the flavour department. It just wasn't this pokey two weeks ago. I'm vaping it because it's all I've got at the mo.

Yep I find mine go up, for example I make a fresh coil and its 1.9ohm after a little use they go up to around 2.1

I thought the effects of regular heating/cooling and general crudding up would reduce conductivity of the wire and increase resistance to the flow of electrical current between the posts over time. While my juice is undoubtedly not tasting as nice as it was a couple of weeks ago,and I'm guilty of of not giving it a regular shake,the extra coil resistance would surely produce less vapour and TH wouldn't it? I'm probably expecting a bit too much from a nearly four week old Vision attie!! I'm bunging a new one in now to see if it makes a difference. If it doesn't,the juice is going down the lav and I'll just buy smaller,less cost effective amounts in future.

My ohms always go down the gunkier my coils get, so low until they error out on my devices and i Have no choice but to recoil or clean them... I dont know shyte about ohms and resistance though so I couldnt tell ya!

Hmmmmmm. Curious stuff and seemingly varying results all round folks :-) Changed my atomiser head. Juice still tastes foul. Not happy. You buy 100ml for a reason....it's cheaper and it's supposed to last. Almost tempted to take the remaining 45ml back to my vendor,but not sure how that would go down. That said,I don't think I've had value for money and it's not exactly his fault. The bottles are sealed when he receives them. Hangsen's fault if anything :-)
