What's new

do you see an increase in people out in cars

Sturgeon says dropping the “stay at home” slogan could be a catastrophic mistake.
I agree, I'm struggling to see the reasoning behind any relaxation to be honest until the number of testing positive and the death rate drop a lot further.

Totally agree, I'm all for a few more shops opening because this is a massive kick in the balls to them but that's about it

People are not sticking to the lockdown as it is so if they ease restrictions then they will be even more stupid about this and they will push it further. I know it's hard for people but rather stressed than dead.

It was bizarrely quiet during my brief cycle to and from work today, unlike the rest of the week. Maybe they're saving up all their naughty points for the long weekend.

Because I'm an old fucker I was told to stay at home for 12 weeks, and that's where I'm staying while Sainsburys keeps delivering the groceries. For exercise I'm digging the garden and mowing the lawn.
I have noticed an increase in traffic noise from the main road about 200 metres away but I don't give a shit about what they're up to - let em dig their own graves.
I can't go out in the car anyway because I put it on SORN. I received a cheque from DVLA yesterday for £323.75 - that will do nicely. :14:

Streets are rammo around here. Same as it has been all the way through to be honest

Exactly. I do feel this is the only way to break the back of this virus.

Was definitely an increase in traffic at the last place.

More shops are opening up with screens and limiting the amount of customers, supermarkets have the screens up; don't know how long they have been up as I've hardly been to them during lockdown.

Small businesses have to do something to open up else they will close for good.

My employer is currently working out a plan of who gets to return to work first and then phase everyone else in over whatever period they are yet to announce.

At some point everyone who had been working from home / furlough has to return to some form of location based working.

I've been planning a phased return and blend of working from home / office, just need to finalise the details and tell my boss, then submit my Flexi working request.

What will be difficult is for companies, where staff have been home working, is to now reject Flexi working as it's been evidenced it does work.

The car wash near me that is staffed by some dodgy looking young lads, who probably don't have work visas has decided to open today after staying shut for weeks.
A twat in her car has decided to stop and have her car washed.
The staff have no ppe whatsoever.
It's been nice not hearing industrial compressors blasting out.
@vapesmarter
To top it off, a police car has just driven straight past FFS
