Do you use more juice on a cotton build?

Boiling it might cause it to unravel, may be better to flame it with a blowtorch, gas ring, or one of those windproof lighters. But be careful, use a pair of pliers or tweezers to hold it, and remember that it will retain heat for quite a while, so have a heatproof surface you can rest it on.

Flaming it is particularly good for ekowool as it will stiffen it and help stop it unravelling.

just dont flame bastos... mine caught fire just from firing up a 4 wrap coil ( 1.2 ohms ) on a half charged mech when it had been left an hour and gone a little dry!

Thanks for the replys... boiling did help, but it needs done again. Have tried flaming with a blowtorch, which on this silica did not help. Built a Navy Nest, and the shitty taste is there but very mild compared to normal!

Good news for the Ekowool, will try that when I build next.
