Does a menthol vape help with a cold?

As the title says, does a menthol e liquid help clear the sinuses when you have a cold? I was just thinking back to the new year, when i had a really bad cold and couldn't breathe, or sleep, as a result.

And if it does help, what's a really good strong menthol to get? I wouldn't normally touch menthol, by the way, so i wouldn't be looking for the nicest flavour etc. Just something I could get 10ml of and keep in reserve for whenever the lergy next strikes.

You probably won't get a cold....I've not picked up a virus since starting vaping...Whereas before with smoking I would pick something up every month or so.
If you do, menthol of any kind will open up your sinuses...

I thought it did once but no it doesn't. The juice actually dries the sinuses and lungs which won't help a cold. I had a stinker a while back and knocked up some super strength cherry menthol and it didn't help with my breathing at all. In fact, it probably made it worse. Get those menthol crystals and stick em in some boiling water and wear a tea towel over your head while breathing the steam. Just like granny did. Granny knows best! :-)

Just drink a bottle of whiskey - you're head will be banging in the morning and you'll forget all about your cold.

It works for me, I only wish I had the flu more often .

On a serious note though, my wife puts some whiskey in a glass with a big dollop of honey and some freshly squeezed lemon. Add hot water and I've only got to have a couple of those and it always seems to shift a cold.

Maybe it's psychological, but I had an awful flu at the beginning of the year, and the only juice I could vape without coughing my guts up was Red Astaire, which tastes just like cherry flavoured Tunes. It seemed to make breathing easier.

I have sinusitis which means I regularly have blocked nasal passages.
I had the same thought process that maybe a menthol would help and tried hundreds of them as many as I could get my hands on.

99% did nothing but ones with eucalyptus in worked as did mentholy insane from moonshine eliquid.

But that is one extremely strong pure menthol liquid it's like smashing your head into a block of ice
