Does a menthol vape help with a cold?

As the title says, does a menthol e liquid help clear the sinuses when you have a cold? I was just thinking back to the new year, when i had a really bad cold and couldn't breathe, or sleep, as a result.

And if it does help, what's a really good strong menthol to get? I wouldn't normally touch menthol, by the way, so i wouldn't be looking for the nicest flavour etc. Just something I could get 10ml of and keep in reserve for whenever the lergy next strikes.

yes i think it does i dropped my nic down and mixed up a blackberry menthol when i had a cold and it was good for keeping me clear well better than vaporub

I've had a couple of colds in the last 6 months, both developing into a bit of a chest infection, but nothing like those I used to get. I didn't notice any sinus improvement with menthol, but it absolutely helped soothe the chest discomfort. When I switched to another flavour, it got worse pretty quickly & the cough returned, so I found menthol was the only relief

Hmmn ok some conflicting opinions on this. I may get in some of the stuff bigpete83 mentioned to try when i do eventually get another cold. Only one way to find out if it helps I guess.

I don't often get colds, even as a smoker it was rare. I've only had the one in the 18 months or so since i started vaping. If i ever get ill, it always seem to be right after new years eve. I've been ill after new years 3 years in a row now. Exposure to large crowds whilst punishing my body maybe?

But it was such a stinker, very nasty, and i remember the main misery of it was just not being able to sleep because i couldn't breathe. And this was with all the granny's whisky and lemon remedies and sudafeds and eucalyptus sweets etc.

Was hoping vapeing might provide yet another holy grail for my health and wellbeing. Perhaps even the mighty vape has its limitations though.

I will say it's an extremely strong menthol and I suggest small hits as when I hit it hard in a dripper it felt like it was burning my nose hairs out lol
As usual though it's all subjective it works for me but may not for others so worth a try anyway

My adv is a menthol juice of some variation. Definitely clears my sinus.

I find that after I've had a vape, I usually exhale through the nose and after a few goes and it's ready to go back in the pouch, I get a really runny nose amd have to give it a good blow

I can only recommend it from experience. I always have menthol somewhere so that if I get a cold, I can change to that and for me it does work. It does loosen up the flemme and clears your throat and nose. As I am living in the UK, I normally use VapeTown Menthol in 6mg but I'm sure other brands will do just fine as well.

Inawera mint + eucalyptus. Helped with my tonsilitus other month opening my throat up abit. Strong stuff though, only need a few drops and its wiped all other flavours out if your juice lol
