Hi All,

I recently purchased a Kangertech 160W Dripbox with the hope of chasing the clouds!

I keep getting dry hits! If i flood the cotton with juice then take a big hit at 160w I get a dry hit?

Any advice on wicking/technique etc much appreciated!

Sounds like it could be the wicking in it. I'd suggest watching a tutorial on how to do it and checking to see what theirs looks like compared to yours. I just recently got into RDA's and second time I wicked there was nowhere near enough cotton and everything was horrible tasting. Maybe you have too much I'm not really too sure but check out some videos and change it up.

Someone else may have better advice but that's what I would do :)

I would have thought 160w is possibly a bit excessive. As a general rule of thumb, I vape at around 4-4.2v, for any build I have. I have just coiled my limitless tank, comes in about 0.22 ohms. Using it at 75w, my regulated device tells me I'm putting 4.06v through it. Everyone differs as to what they prefer, but 160w would prob want a build at about 0.1ohms.

I never build that low. Unless you know your ohms law inside out and are brushed up on your battery knowledge I wouldn't recommend building so low either. [emoji848]

Lowest I build is around 0.08-0.09ohms and even that's rare....I'd take that to around 125 watts (ish) and at that wattage it's a hot vape...very....

Usual build for me is 0.15ohms and that's at a max of about 100/115 watts...

Are you using the coil supplied in the atty?

My advice would be to start at around 40 watts and then slowly build the wattage up in 1 watt increments....just because you have a mod capable of 160 watts doesn't mean you have to vape it at that.

As Toby has said, to vape at 160 watts, using a dual coil you would need to be at somewhere near or at 0.01 to 0.02ohms and frankly, that's even a bit crazy for me....
