Has anyone else mentioned or questioned the timing of this vote by the way? Just before New Year, when most people will think about quitting? I'd be interested to see the figures for people turning to vaping in 2014 and the damage it does to Big Pharma/Tobacco.

Yep, asked the question in September, because when big companies like pharmaceuticals talk about revenue and their best times, it's talked about well in advance. Approximately 14% fewer sales in this last quarter, so I suspect that big pharmaceutical expected an even higher loss come January 2014 which is one of their busiest periods. There was not an answer.

If, as a consumer, I can't buy nic base above 20mg in 10ml bottles, I would struggle to keep vaping. I've never bought a pre-mix that can serve as anything more than an occasional change - and I have tried a few (most taste too artificial). Though I do have plenty in stock, I'm not happy with the prospect of knowing my vaping will only last as long as my nic supply

I'm going to research alternative nic supplies from other plants to tobacco.I know that a black-market nic base will likely be less pure than the stuff I'm buying now,but no doubt there will be umpteen websites spring up detailing how to create your own once these regulations come into force.

The only plant I know is Horsetail, it's a weed, and there'd be plenty of allotment owners who'd be more than happy for you to spend all day digging it up!
