Yep you just keep on throwing the insults...

I make my first ever post and right off the bat I get insults and from there on in it keeps coming.

It was really stupid of me to think that we were all on the same side.

Did any of you read my post? I'm not the enemy but it seems that you guys want to vent your crap on the newbie.

Is there a problem with starting a discussion on this forum? Who should I talk to before posting for proof reading, prior approval and permission?

Maybe if your first post was an introduction and you joined in with some conversations instead of steaming in telling everyone what they should be doing on a topic we all have been involved in for a long time and have invested lots of time and effort in.
Where were you a year ago when a lot of people here were campaigning against the TPD ? Still smoking 20 bensons and laughing at the guys with the funny smoke machines ?

Come down off your high horse and get to know the other members on here, we are on the same side but no you are right we do not need a newbie going off on one about what we as vapers should be doing

Stop throwing your toys out the pram and get involved with the community

Hang on........... aren't you the same vapegeezer who had the post in The New Users Questions and Discussions area that ran to some 6 pages worth? You must surely have got a feel for things during that? I seem to remember that a lot of the guys went out of their way to be as helpful as possible and to try and help out as and where they could?

Yes, it was me that eventually Closed that Thread. The reason why was that there is an enormous resource sitting here on The Main Forums which would help you out no end. But without a gentle nudge to entice you out, it might have taken you a lot longer to possibly realise just what lay beyond the confines of The New User Area.

Hopefully you may have now read a bit more of the forum content and will have seen the lengths we have gone to in trying to do our bit with the war on TPD,

Yes Rob that was me the same vapegeezer. The help I got was hugely appreciated and I made a specific point of thanking people with regard to the help. That is plain to see by the comments I made to each individual respectively.

What I didn't need was the abuse. A gentle nudge is great, but insult after insult even to the last with TheTartanSpartan.

His post was good but then he had to go and spoil it with his very last comment.

Toys out the pram! That's a childish and age old phrase...

I am not in the slightest offended by any of it, no just the lack of respect for another human being.

The phrase Vaping Snobbery comes to mind...

All I done was make a post. Then I am slammed. Then people apologise. Then more slamming, what the hell.

Whether I have been Vaping a week or 2 years makes no difference. I am still affected by the TPD.

If anything I have smoked longer than some Vapers on here have been alive. That doesn't give me a monopoly or anyone else either.

I would be grateful if you could close this thread. It's a waste of time.

Vapegeezer, as I said, you're very welcome on here, all vapers are whether they be new or old. BUT it's a two-way street. You seem determined to focus on any negatives and unwilling to take on board any point of view other than your own. Where is, and was, your respect to all the forum members who have been lobbying and fighting the TPD for months? From your post it looks as though you didn't even bother to find out about them, which is probably why you weren't as welcomed as you might have been.

Please stop this, I'm sure there's a lot you can get from the forum, and possibly give something back, but not if you carry on with the attitude. Drop it, hang around and start again. It will be fine, if you want it to be.

If you are insulted by someone saying throwing toys out of the pram my advice would be stay off the internet bud, there is a lot worse out there than that. Think you may need a thicker skin

Well, TPD is a nightmare isn't it? Not only for us Customers, but also for the Poor Sods that have built up their businesses only to see themselves being potentially robbed of their livelihoods, a very good case in point being Poor Old @TheTartanSpartan and his range of Liquids. Shut down his business. There are a great many more whom are looking very closely at what the future holds for them. This is where my sympathy lies, we as consumers will find whatever hardware we desire, but the very real possibility is that many of our favourite Liquids will go and with them a huge number of brave entrepreneurs who have become close friends.
I feel that they have been let down really badly by the implementation of all that TPD brings. It's a sad time.
